Whoever wants to sell doesn't wait for the customer to show up! Let's go to the trade fairs and sell!  This is the invitation from Ms. Angela Peres, Director of Business and Image for Agribusiness at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Supply (Mapa).

Of course, producing is essential, but if we don't know how to sell, we'll be left waiting for buyers. Then complaining won't do any good. Those who sell don't wait! They go out, pursue opportunities, promote, offer, and make the sale happen.
Opening more than 500 new markets isn't enough—you have to sell!

International Trade Fairs Circle the Globe

International business fairs are already happening around the world, and Brazil has opened more than 500 new markets. Now it's necessary for Brazilian entrepreneurs to come, participate, and sell.

2026 starts now, and small businesses in the food and beverage sector, as well as cooperatives, are all called to action.
Brazil's food and beverage industry is already the world's largest exporter, and now it needs to sell even more by diversifying and offering products with higher added value.

Selling Brazilian agribusiness to the entire world is Angela Peres's call to Brazilian entrepreneurs and cooperatives, now with a focus on all of Southeast Asia at the Food and Hospitality Vietnam trade show, taking place from March 24 to 26th.

Trade Shows: Strategic Instruments

"These international business fairs, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, are strategic instruments of the federal government's action, through Mapa in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to promote Brazilian agribusiness and expand Brazil's presence in international markets.

We've opened more than 500 new markets worldwide in recent years and supporting Brazilian entrepreneurs in conducting business. Therefore, through these actions, the Ministry brings Brazilian companies closer to global buyers, strengthens the country's image as a reliable supplier, and creates concrete business opportunities.

In this context, I inform you that Brazil will participate in Food and Hospitality Vietnam 2026, one of the main fairs for the food, beverage, and hospitality sectors in Southeast Asia. And here we are inviting Brazilian companies to participate in these fairs. Selected Brazilian companies can join the Brazil Pavilion, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, at this fair taking place from March 24 to 26 this year.

The Brazil Pavilion structure is complete, including bilingual receptionists, an institutional catalog, furniture for product preparation and display. We will also have a 'Show Kitchen' with a chef preparing dishes using Brazilian products, in addition to suitable spaces for meetings with potential buyers. Exhibitors will also have technical support from the Ministry of Agriculture's team throughout the event."

Who can participate

"Companies from the food and beverage industry, commercial and export companies, trading companies, sector entities, and cooperatives, provided it is for the exclusive promotion of Brazilian products," informed Angela Peres.

There are several fairs, and those who sell have no time to waste! Nor to complain.

Let's  go and Sell

So, opening markets isn't enough. You have to go there and sell. And here's the great lesson: those who sell, sell! Those who don't sell complain and regret it. So, follow Angela Peres!

And we, from Brazilian Agribusiness, are gonna sell to the entire world!
