We are witnessing a significant milestone in authentic Agricitizenship, also known to as Agricultural Citizenship by Dr. Ray Goldberg, the pioneer of the Agribusiness concept at Harvard. He has consistently encouraged leaders in the global sector to embrace this valuable concept.

Here, in Brazil, we celebrate an outstanding example over this vision.

At an event hosted by COSAN (a Brazilian conglomerate in sugar, ethanol, energy, lubricants, and logistics), the NGO known as Gerando Falcões (Breeding Hawks) presented the Dignity Fund to leading  Brazilian Agribusiness executives.

The goal of this fund is to help at least one million people escape poverty and achieve decent living conditions within the next ten years

Host and ambassador of this initiative, Mr. Rubens Ometto, alongside Mr. José Luís Cutrale Júnior and also Mr. Bruno Setúbal, welcomed the presence of Mr. Jorge Paulo Lemann, the Anchor Donor of the referred fund.

The Dignity Fund aims to combat poverty sustainably through programs all over Brazilian slums.

I've  spoken  to Mr. Edu Lyra, CEO and founder of the aforementioned NGO, and he explained:

“We are working to lift one million people out from poverty through the project "Gerando Falcões', which is driven by the Dignity Fund, established with a target of BRL250 million.

So, Agribusiness is a driving force for Brazil, a country that feeds the world and can also bring dignity to the slums. That’s what we want: to turn Poverty into Dignity. Agribusiness isn't just ‘pop’, it’s dignified as well.  And more importantly, scaling profit means scaling dignity.

We were very well received and it was a magnificent meeting! I believe we’ve set the stage for other Brazilian Agribusiness leaders to collaborate and create real transformation in our country-  concluded Mr.Lyra.

Thank you, Mr. Edu Lyra!

With an initial contribution of BRL 100 million from the Lemann Foundation, the goal is to raise 250 million BRL by 2026

Leaders such as Mr. José Olympio Matarazzo,  Mr.Roberto Setúbal, Ms Denise Aguiar, the Marinho family, and others believe poverty can be eradicated through social engineering, speed, and collaboration.

The Dignity Fund shares this vision and seeks to fight poverty sustainably by implementing programs across Brazilian slums.

Therefore, Agribusiness supports the Agricitizenship in partnership with the Gerando Falcões NGO project..

May this noble mission succeed.

E vem caindo no consumo per capita.
Ė invisível, porém é a seguranca genética.
