The 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP–30), to be held between November 10 and 21, 2025, in Belém, state of Pará, Amazon, Brazil, brings the essential function of electing the High-Level Climate Champion, that is, the nomination of a Brazilian authority who represents this entire Agri-environmental, Sustainable and Agroeconomic movement.

Conversei com uma personalidade admirável, o presidente da Organização das Cooperativas do Brasil (OCB), Márcio Lopes, também membro da Aliança Internacional das Cooperativas (AIC), ano de COP-29, ano que vem COP-30, e uma coisa importantíssima ano que vem é o Ano Internacional do Cooperativismo.

Cop-30 chegando e tem uma função muito importante que é colocarmos o High Level Climate Champion, ou seja, a indicação de um brasileiro que represente todo esse movimento agroambiental, sustentável e agroeconômico também e eu estou aqui com o admirado Roberto Rodrigues professor emérito da FGV e Esalq. Hoje ele é embaixador do cooperativismo na FAO e todo mundo sabe muito bem da sua histórica, inclusive, como ministro que atuou maravilhosamente no comando da agricultura.
